Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities:

• Developing software solutions to meet business requirements and customer needs.
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
• Creating and implementing the source code of new applications within deadlines
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing
• Troubleshoot and debugging code in a timely manner
• Evaluating existing applications and performing updates and modifications.
• Developing technical handbooks to represent the design and code of new applications.

Requirement:

• Must be fundamentally strong in Java 8.
• Should possess strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, Spring data, Spring Cloud & Spring Boot).
• Should possess strong hands-on with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
• Should possess good scripting experience with Unix/Linux (Any flavor).
• MariaDB/MySQL database knowledge is a must.
• Should possess experience in working with middleware tools such as ActiveMQ.
• Preferably have at least 1 year of experience in Front-End technologies such as VueJs, Angular, ExtJS.
• Should have at least 2 years of experience in REST API development.
• Experience with Git and GitHub, BitBucket.
• Good working knowledge in OpenShift and micro-services architecture.
• Familiar with Agile practice.
• Familiar with continuous integration and release automation such as Jenkins.
• Familiar with collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA.
